A missed midnight Ping tests whether a delivery promise is met with accountability or hidden behind system status.
At 12:07, an urgent Ping missed its recipient.
By dawn, the dashboard was green and a ticket existed. Neither told the recipient whether the next Ping would arrive.
The team acknowledged the miss, traced the route, tested the repair, and explained what changed.
The missed Ping is one problem.
Hiding behind the machinery would have been the larger one.
