Delete Your Account
Last updated: August 25, 2026
PingRoom and PingRoom Agents use one unified PingRoom account. You can permanently delete that account from either app or by email using the methods below. Both apps and the account are operated by Mindzone Technologies LLC. Deletion affects both apps and cannot be undone. A successful in-app deletion removes the active account immediately; an email request may take up to 30 days to verify and process. You do not need to have the apps installed to use the email option.
Option 1: In either app
- Open PingRoom or PingRoom Agents.
- Go to Settings. In PingRoom, open the gear icon; in PingRoom Agents, use the Settings tab.
- Choose Delete Account or Delete PingRoom account.
- Complete the confirmation prompts. When the app confirms deletion, the active account is deleted across both apps.
Signing out of one app or archiving a managed agent does not delete your account.
Option 2: Request by email
If you can no longer sign in to your account, email us from the address associated with your account at privacy@pingroom.io with the subject "Account deletion request." We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your PingRoom account does not send a cancellation instruction to Stripe, Apple, or Google. Cancel any active paid subscription separately, preferably before deleting the account:
- For a web subscription, use the Stripe billing portal while you can still sign in, or contact us for billing support.
- For an in-app purchase, manage the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Billing may otherwise continue under the payment provider's terms. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund.
What is deleted
When deletion is completed, we remove or disconnect the following from our active systems:
- Your unified account profile, name, avatar, email, and login identifiers used by both apps.
- Your contact card and any links it contains.
- Your memberships in all PingRoom rooms. Personal rooms and rooms you own with no remaining successor are made inactive; ownership of a standard room with remaining members may be transferred to another member.
- Your account linkage to sent Notifications and notification logs, contact shares, and output-channel connections where our deletion process controls those records. Content retained with a transferred or inactive Room is covered by the exceptions below. We also request removal of active PingRoom push tokens.
- Your managed agents and versions, model-provider connections and encrypted credentials, builder history, triggers, pending tool actions, managed-agent run and tool history, event timelines, and external-agent registrations and access grants from our active systems, subject to the exceptions below.
- Your server-side settings and preferences.
What may be retained
Some related records may remain for a limited period or under a provider's control:
- A Room made inactive during account deletion may retain notification history, other members’ membership rows, Quick Actions, and location or time trigger rows even though users can no longer access the Room. Notification history may include a precise place deliberately attached to a Location Ping. Your membership, connector credentials, and attachments are removed.
- Records required for legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, gift, referral, or redemption purposes, including records associated with the random App-scoped installation identifier where necessary to enforce abuse limits.
- Billing and transaction records held by Stripe, Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, and data already received by a Model Provider or integration, under that provider's own retention policy.
- Local session copies, preferences, caches, queues, or pending agent-builder, trigger, and test-run recovery records until the relevant app clears them, the flow completes or is discarded, or you clear the app or browser storage. A deleted account's session will no longer work against our servers.
- Limited backups, security logs, expired approval audit metadata, and records needed for legal preservation, abuse prevention, or a pending dispute until their applicable retention purpose ends.
- A pending or under-review AI safety report may retain a minimized output snapshot until its original expiry, no more than 90 days after submission. We remove your reporter details if you filed the report, or the reported agent, version, and run identifiers if you own its subject. Subject identifiers belonging to another account may remain so moderators can act on the report. Reports already actioned or dismissed are deleted with the account.
