The driver is downstairs

Paula parks at the agreed pickup point and tells her colleagues it is time to come down.

Three colleagues shared a ride to the workshop across town. Paula drove, and the others met her outside Nabil’s building because it was on the way.

They used a small PingRoom room with one Quick Ping: “Downstairs at Nabil’s.” Paula parked in the agreed space, then took out her phone and sent it.

Upstairs, Nabil saw the Ping, put the workshop address sheet in his bag with his notebook, and took the lift. June had arrived on foot a few minutes earlier and was waiting inside the lobby. She read it and pushed open the front door.

Paula put her phone away before they set off. Nabil checked that everyone had brought the samples they needed. June had two extra boxes, which explained why she had been so pleased about getting a lift.
