Story 04
The interruption we invited
A trusted notification earns attention because its people, purpose, signal, and sound were chosen in advance.

Most notifications are interruptions someone else chose for us.
A promotion.
A reminder we didn’t request.
A message that could have waited.
Eventually, we teach ourselves to ignore all of them.
But a PingRoom is different.
You chose the room.
You chose the people.
You chose the signal.
You chose the sound.
The technology is almost secondary.
The valuable part is permission.
A trusted interruption does not need to shout louder.
It needs to keep its promise.
