Community Quick Ping Presets Are Here
Share selected Quick Ping pages as a reusable link, browse public presets, and copy a useful starting set into a Room you manage.

Community presets are now live in PingRoom’s browser app. You can share selected Quick Ping pages from a Room you own or manage, browse presets that people have listed, preview every Ping, and copy a useful set into another Room.
This is a web release. Open Community presets in your browser to use it today. The current iOS and Android apps do not yet include the native Community presets experience.
Share the useful part, not the Room
A preset contains the Quick Ping pages you choose. It does not share the Room, its members, activity, or invitation.
To create one:
- Open Community presets and choose Share yours.
- Select a Room you own or manage.
- Pick one to four Quick Ping pages.
- Add a title and category.
- Decide whether to show your name and list the preset publicly.
- Create the preset and copy its link.
You need a verified PingRoom account to publish a preset. People can still use a shared preset while signed in as guests.
For example, a household might share a page with Home safe, On my way, Running late, and Call me. Those labels are only an example, not a customer story. The person opening the link sees the exact set before deciding whether it belongs in their Room.

Pingo, our fictional CMO, approves of sharing the tray without handing over the whole cabinet. The human team still owns every publishing and moderation decision.
Choose public discovery or a private link
Turn on List publicly when the preset should appear in the Community browser. People can browse Popular, New, and category views, open the preview, and hear each Ping before using it.
Leave public listing off when you only want to send the link to a particular group. The link can still be opened by anyone who receives it, so do not put secrets, access codes, personal details, or private Room context in a preset title or Ping label.
The Show my name setting controls whether your display name appears with the preset. It does not turn Pingo or PingRoom into the creator. A preset remains the responsibility of the person who published it.
PingRoom checks what can be published
Before a preset becomes available, PingRoom applies fixed publishing rules and a narrow content check to its title and Quick Ping labels. The check does not receive Room membership, Room activity, or message history.
If the publishing check is unavailable, the preset is not shown to other people. PingRoom can also hide or remove a preset under the Community preset policy. A listing is not an endorsement or a promise that its wording fits every group.
A preset is a frozen copy
Creating a preset takes a snapshot of the selected pages. Editing the source Room later does not silently change the shared version.
The same boundary applies after someone uses it. Their Room receives a copy of the Quick Pings; later changes to the preset do not rewrite that Room, and deleting the preset does not remove Pings that were already copied.
That makes Community presets different from the built-in Room template library. Templates help start a new Room around an activity. Community presets help people exchange useful Quick Ping sets and apply them to Rooms they already manage.
Before replacing anything, read the separate guide to applying a Community preset safely. PingRoom shows the exact page-by-page outcome before it writes.
Open Community presets, preview one useful set, and share only wording you would be comfortable making public.
