Find your Room in the template library
Search for the thing your group does, preview its Quick Pings, and turn a ready-made template into a Room that sounds like you.

Your band has a rehearsal booked. You know who is coming and what you will play. The useful little cues are familiar too: ready to start, play that again, take a break.
A Room template gives those cues a starting place. In PingRoom’s browser template library, you can search for an activity, preview its Quick Pings, and use it to begin a new Room. Then change the details to suit your group.
You do not need to invent four useful buttons before you have sent your first Ping.
Search for the activity
Sign in to Templates and try band, music, or practice. The search looks through template names, descriptions, and tags across the library.
If you would rather browse, clear the search and choose a category. Hobbies & clubs includes Practicing with a band. Other categories cover everyday situations such as family life, studying, travel, and pet care.
Read the short description and the Quick Ping preview. A good match has messages your group would actually use, not merely a name you like.
Make the starting point yours
Choose Practicing with a band to open the Room creation form. The template starts with these four Quick Pings:
- Ready to start?
- Let us play that again
- Time for a break
- Let us tune our instruments
Review the Room name and tap a Quick Ping to edit it before creating the Room. You might call the Room Thursday rehearsal and shorten Let us play that again to Once more from the top.
Keep the meaning clear to the people receiving it. A familiar phrase works because the group already understands the situation.
The band template is available on the free plan; your normal Room allowance still applies. Choosing a template fills in a draft. It does not invite the band or send a Ping.

Pingo, our fictional CMO, has found the break cue. Judging by his exit, it needs no further explanation.
Agree on what a tap means
After creating the Room, invite your bandmates with its link or code. Before the session, agree on how you will use the saved cues.
For example, Time for a break can mean “pause after this song,” rather than “stop playing immediately.” That agreement happens between the people in the Room; the template cannot make it for you.
A Quick Ping labelled Ready to start? is still a saved Ping. Its question mark does not turn it into a Question that records an answer. Use a Question when you need someone to choose an option and settle a decision.
Try the template library with one activity your group already shares. Pick a useful starting set, adjust the wording, and give the Room its first real purpose.
