Let the status page Ping you
Subscribe to PingRoom’s official ChatGPT, Claude, Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam Room and hear when the service changes or recovers.

You try the same action twice. It still does not work. Now you have two jobs: finish what you were doing and work out whether the service has a wider problem.
PingRoom has five new official public Rooms for that second job. Subscribe once, then let a service-status change come to you as a Ping:
- ChatGPT & OpenAI Status
- Anthropic / Claude Status
- Xbox Live Status
- PlayStation Network Status
- Steam Status
As of September 20, all five direct Room links are live and owned by PingRoom. Each Room stays quiet until its source changes state. It can Ping again when that state changes or recovers.
On the cover: Pingo the Pigeon™, our official mascot and fictional CMO, has delegated five status pages to five lamps. AI-generated editorial artwork using approved Pingo references; not an app screen, customer scene, or guarantee that every individual account sees the same service state.
Subscribe before you need the answer
Open the Room you care about, then choose Open in PingRoom or Open on the web. Subscribe from there. Public-Room subscribers stay anonymous to one another.
You do not need to keep the Room open. When PingRoom sees a supported state change, the Room sends a normal Ping through the notification settings and devices you already use.
The useful setup is usually narrow. If your work depends on ChatGPT and Claude, subscribe to those two Rooms. If Friday night depends on Xbox, choose Xbox. A status Room should remove a checking loop, not create a new collection of alerts.
The source stays visible
The Rooms do not invent a diagnosis. Each Ping links back to the source behind it.
| Room | What PingRoom follows |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT & OpenAI Status | Incident phase changes from OpenAI’s official status page |
| Anthropic / Claude Status | Incident phase changes from the official Claude status page |
| Xbox Live Status | Service changes from Xbox’s official US status feed |
| PlayStation Network Status | Disruptions, maintenance, and recoveries from PlayStation’s regional status service |
| Steam Status | PingRoom’s direct reachability checks for the Steam Store, Community, and Web API |
OpenAI notes that its public status metrics are aggregated across tiers, models, and error types. Your own account can behave differently from the overall page. The same practical rule applies to every status Room: a Ping is a useful signal to inspect, not proof of the exact cause on your device.

Pingo’s relay table is an editorial metaphor. He cannot inspect an account, read a private Room, or act on anyone’s behalf. The real Rooms compare public service information and send the resulting status change through PingRoom.
Quiet first, then changed
These Rooms establish a quiet baseline when they begin watching. They do not send old incidents just to fill the feed, and subscribing does not produce a test outage.
The status sources are checked on a five-minute cadence. A Ping is produced when a supported state moves to a new phase, such as investigating, identified, monitoring, or resolved, or when a tracked gaming service changes between available and disrupted. Each Room is capped at six status Pings per day.
Steam has an extra boundary. PingRoom checks the Steam Store, Community, and Web API directly and requires two matching checks before reporting a change. That Room does not cover individual game servers. A blocked or unrecognized response is not treated as evidence of an outage.
Missing data is not a recovery either. If a source cannot give PingRoom a valid reading, the Room waits instead of announcing that everything is fixed.
Use the Ping to decide the next check
A status Ping does not repair the service. It removes the need to keep refreshing a dashboard while you wait.
When a disruption Ping arrives, open its source link and compare the affected service with what you are doing. When a recovery Ping arrives, try the blocked action again. If your problem continues while the official source is clear, check your own connection, account, device, or the specific game or feature involved.
Subscribe once. Keep working or playing. Let the next meaningful change find you.
PingRoom
The Ping that cuts through.
