The problem wasn’t that the agent worked slowly. The problem was that it had no respectful way to interrupt her.

Then it asked one question on her phone.

She tapped “Approve.”

The terminal continued without her standing beside it.

Automation doesn’t become useful when it can work alone.

It becomes useful when it knows when not to.
